莎拉•沃尔夫（Stilyana Mitkova 饰）是数年前凡纳克精神疗养院猛鬼屋事件的唯一幸存者，一晃8年过去，莎拉却突然死于非命。她的姐姐——供职于某时尚杂志的艾薇尔（Amanda Righetti 饰）在此之前曾接到妹妹打来的数通电话，却因繁务而无暇回电。 艾薇尔不相信妹妹死于自杀，她和摄影师朋友保罗（Tom Riley 饰）赶到莎拉的公寓，曾妹妹的日记中得知一尊神秘雕像的信息。不久，艾薇尔和保罗遭遇绑架，一伙犯罪分子企图利用他们找到那尊雕像，但是他们的贪婪却将恐怖邪灵再次唤醒……。On Christmas Eve in 1968 six-year-old army brat Clairee simultaneously learns the hard truth about Santa Claus and the realities of war.
