2018年5月，V-Jump宣布《超龙珠英雄：监狱惑星篇》动画化决定。 改编自万代游戏《超龙珠英雄》监狱惑星篇的推广动画，由东映动画公司制作。动画第一集于7月1日在埼玉县游戏活动先行上映，第二集于7月16日在东京游戏活动先行上映。同时动画亦会陆续在SP动画专用官方网站正式上映。。When a group of old college friends, now in their 30s, gather over Christmas at their recently deceased friend's remote mountain cabin to celebrate his life, they see it as an opportunity to come together as the cohesive unit they once were.
