希特勒（Noah Taylor）从小立志要当杰出画家，一名犹太美术老师（John Cusack）未能成功开启他的艺术天份，才促使了希特勒日后投效政坛呼风唤雨，电影主要着墨在两人亦师亦友的关系上。。Gloria wakes up one morning in her attic with yet another boyfriend at her side, Fuffi. Unfortunately Fuffi is not called Fuffi, but Franco and is the husband of his best friend, Marta. Upon finding out, Marta threatens to leave home unless Franco in turn agrees to be betrayed.
