《笑星闯地球》是东方卫视在继《笑傲江湖》、《欢乐喜剧人》之后推出的又一原创喜剧综艺节目。节目将以打造“最有话题的喜剧综艺、最有态度的喜剧综艺、最年轻化的喜剧综艺”为宗旨，将“搞笑第一，态度并列第一”的风格坚持到底。 节目中，大张伟和王自健将分别带领笑星队和地球队，针对节目中出现的话题分为正反两方进行辩论，以双方队员演的小品来证明己方观点。节目中的话题皆来源于现实生活，包含社会的方方面面。两队的队员都是来自民间的喜剧达人，都有着充足的喜剧创作经验，在要表达观点的前提下作品该如何表现，这也是节目的一大看点。 除此之外，节目的每一期还会请来一个大咖嘉宾坐镇，以一个“局外人”的角度谈谈自己的对话题的看法，大咖还拥有着决定选手去留的重要武器，至于这个武器是什么，还得留到节目中为我们揭晓。。The movie stars Sam, 18, an aspiring musician that just lost her older sister Amber.
