赵力雪是个典型的香港时代女性，利用假期到马来西亚做奇人奇事专访，她的对象是娶了九个老婆的降头师何炳。力雪的同学伟明在马来西亚开了一间旅行社，招待力雪住在他家，又陪力雪去拜访何炳。力雪在访谈中不慎被何炳下了降头，在回程中竟心神不宁，肚子涨大，伟大胜利明请来金法师为力雪解蛊，何炳见奸计被破，怒而追杀力雪和伟明，两人赶忙躲到金法师家中，何炳于是派被他下蛊威胁伟大明出马，后经金法师和流氓婆二人合力终于铲除了何炳。力雪历经了一场惊险的降头之旅，也顺利完成了她的任务。。该剧以“一事不再理原则”（一旦处理过的案件不再审理的法律一般原则）为背景。讲述5年前被派为国选律师崔度贤（李俊昊饰）负责的一起女性被杀案中，该案嫌疑犯韩钟久被起诉杀人，但最终被判无罪。之后韩钟久因为其他杀人案再次被起诉，在裁判过程中他自白自己是5年前的杀人案的真凶，但因为“一事不再理原则”而无法接受处罚。将讲述即使犯人自白了，却无法惩罚的法律的讽刺故事。。Somewhere in Myanmar is a forest rich in amber and controlled by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA). Most of its inhabitants work in a mine, digging the earth night and days in the hope of finding the precious ore that will get them out of poverty.
