影片改编自挪威作家尤·奈斯博的短篇小说《The Jealousy Man》，讲述在一个偏远的希腊岛屿上，一对双胞胎兄弟陷入了三角恋，引发血腥暴力冲突，一名善妒的当地侦探受命来调查这起谋杀案。。During the cold and rainy off-season a man arrives in a seaside town and, giving his name only as Pierre, checks into the only hotel which remains open. His arrival arouses curiosity and a degree of suspicion, as people note that he appears to know the area, yet gives no explanation for his presence at that bleak time of year in the dead-end town.。
