昭和20年，太平洋战争刚刚落下帷幕。经历了惨烈战火的日本山河寥落，百废待兴。生活在最低层的人们凭借一双勤劳的双手艰难求生。废墟上的东京，小商贩们渐渐云集，靠着他们物美价廉的美食为贫穷的手工业者提供果腹之餐，而立食师的神话也就此拉开序幕。月见之银二（吉祥寺怪人 配音）最早登场，长发飘飘宛如仙人的老者在霸王餐界打出名堂。在此之后，狐炸肉饼之阿银（兵藤真子 饰）、汉堡之阿哲（川井宪次 饰）、牛肉盖浇饭之牛五郎（川井宪次 饰）等传奇立食师相继登场，为二战后的日本发展史做出了异样的注脚…… 本片由动画导演押井守根据自己2004年出版的同名小说改编。。The story sees after a young man transferred from juvenile to adult prison, where he is taken under the wing of both Australia’s most despised criminal, and a soon-to-be-a-paroled inmate. A paternal triangle grows between them, suggesting that even the worst of men may have a little bit of good inside them — that will be their eventual undoing.。
